Now Hiring - IT Entry Level Technician

This is a full time position.

Requirements:

  • Experience with productivity software such as Microsoft Office
  • Experience with peer to peer and domain networks
  • Familiarity with Windows 10 & 11 OSes
  • Experience with networking technologies such as DNS and SMTP, as well as experience getting support from ISPs, hardware and software vendors
  • Have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
  • Most importantly, you should have a demonstrated desire and ability to acquire and integrate new technical skills quickly
  • A background check will be required

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Provide excellent customer service and technical support to customers by phone and by email
  • Work with our cabling team to install low voltage cabling
  • Work effectively with minimal supervision as an individual and collaborate with other team members
  • Adapt quickly to changing demands
  • Show superior organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrate outstanding attention to detail
  • Have grace under pressure and a good sense of humor

Here are the specific duties of this position:

We are looking for a technician (1-3 years of experience) to be part of our Support team. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide administration and support services for end users and IT systems. Some of your responsibilities will include providing support to Windows Active Directory, account management for cloud services, and troubleshooting for hardware, software, networks, backups, and virtualization technologies. Above all the goal of our company is to provide excellent IT assistance to give our customers a competitive edge.

  • Respond promptly to incoming requests via phone and email
  • Prioritize requests appropriately according to severity and promised service levels
  • Be responsible to update customer documentation and processes
  • Work with other team members to customer SLA are met
